IMAGINE YOU SITTING HERE

  Imagine sitting here having your morning coffee listening to the sound of birds singing their morning tune, the grunting wildebeest as they graze on the plains below you, a small dust cloud forms behind them as they walk, elephants will come too, it’s time for water and the watering hole is so close. This is Africa. It’s been feeling closer and closer as guests go over their flight plans with me. There’s always something so thrilling about having a flight booked, it’s the anticipation of the day you print the tickets and board your plane. I’ll be waiting for you on the other side, a huge smile to match yours.  You’ve just taken your first step on African soil.  

The Hadzabe in brief

    The Hadzabe are hunter-gatherers in Tanzania. Their diet can be conveniently categorized into five main categories: tubers, berries, meat, baobab, and honey. We showed the Hadzabe photos of these foods and asked them to rank them in order of preference. Honey was ranked the highest.

Saa Nane Islands

Saanane Island is a fully fledged National Park since July, 2013, covering an area of 2.18 sq km comprises of three islets and aquatic environment. The islets lie on the southern part of the main Island.   The park made a record of being the first ever National Park to be located within the City and the smallest National Park in both Tanzania and East Africa. The Park is the home of mammals like Impala, Rock Hyrax, Velvet Monkeys and Wild Cats. The presence of “De-brazas Monkey” underscores its potential as the only Park in the country inhabiting the species.  Reptiles are also dominant; they include crocodiles, Monitor Lizards, Agama Lizards, Pancake and Leopard Tortoises, Snakes particularly Python. The aquatic part of the Park inhabits a variety of fisheries life, mainly Tilapia and Nile Perch. Arusha National Park

Situated just a short drive from Arusha and Moshi, Arusha National Park is one of Tanzania's most convenient parks and is a fantastic destination for a day trip and makes for  a great beginning or end to any  Tanzanian itinerary. Arusha National Park hosts a wide variety of landscapes, ranging from vast savannah and rainforest through to acacia woodlands and up to alpine vegetation on the higher reaches of Mount Meru. At just over 200 square miles, Arusha National Park has  great wildlife densities,  and it is home to the world's largest population of giraffe. Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park is undoubtedly the best-known wildlife sanctuary in the world,  unequalled  for its natural beauty and scientific value, it has the greatest concentration of plains game in Africa   The  Serengeti  National Park in Tanzania was established in 1952. It is home to the greatest wildlife spectacle on earth - the great migration of wildebeest and zebra. The resident population of lion, cheetah, elephant, giraffe, and birds is also impressive. There’s a wide variety of accommodation available, from luxury lodges to mobile camps. The park covers 5,700 sq miles, (14,763 sq km), it’s larger than Connecticut, with at most a couple hundred vehicles driving around. The Park can be divided into 3 sections.
